Lending

The Agnesenschütte Library is the public library of the town of Schaffhausen. Its freely accessible stock of about 45’000 media comprises:

Current novels and non-fiction books on all subject areas for adults
Foreign language books (en, fr, it, sp, pt) and audio books for adults
novels, non-fiction, comics for young people
Stories, picture books and non-fiction books for children
Intercultural media for children and young people in twelve languages
Audiovisual media for adults, young people and children: CDs, DVDs, language courses, PS3 and PS4 game

Reading and learning

Five Internet workstations and a WLAN network including printer complete the offer. In the magazine room with coffee machine there are about 150 daily newspapers and magazines. There are places for learning and reading throughout the library.
