Sie umfasst die \u00e4lteren B\u00fccher der Bibliothek. In ihrem Kulturg\u00fcterschutzraum lagert zudem der reiche historische Buchbestand. Ebenfalls in der Stadtbibliothek werden die Scaphusiana aufbewahrt (Literatur \u00fcber Schaffhausen sowie von Schaffhauser Verlagen und Autor\/innen). Insgesamt umfasst der Bestand der Stadtbibliothek am M\u00fcnsterplatz ca. 230’000 Einheiten. Der Lesesaal bietet ruhige Arbeits- und Lesepl\u00e4tze und einen Pr\u00e4senzbestand an Lexika, Bibliographien und W\u00f6rterb\u00fcchern an. Die neuesten Ausgaben von rund 100 Zeitungen und Zeitschriften, zwei Internet-PCs mit Drucker, WLAN und ein Kopierger\u00e4t erg\u00e4nzen das Angebot.<\/p>\n
